Vintage Conn Cases

I have a 1925 Conn Alto that's been in the family a long time. I'm trying to repair the original case. The handle rotted away/broke off a long time ago. Is there somebody that still makes these, or would I be better off just getting another case from the same era? Or, from a value standpoint of the instrument, does it really matter if the case is original or not?

    Leather repair shops may make you a new handle or re-attach your old one. People seem to like to see original old cases with the vintage horns - but not a beat-up piece of junk -- especially one that does not protect the horn well. Good Luck
