*Extremely Rare Custom Guardala Mouthpiece*

This is a very rare custom D8 handmade Guardala tenor sax mouthpiece. Dave made very few custom pieces. This piece represents one of the early handmade pieces from his shop. This piece was ordered by Rick VanMatre, Professor and Director of Jazz Studies - Saxophone at the esteemed Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM), in the early 80's. It is stamped "Custom" on the side and "D8" on top of the piece. It is completely original and in great shape. There is no wear of note, including no finish wear. The original bite plate has always been protected by a guard and is perfect. The tip measures .102", and it has a facing length of 46.
