This is a great French made professional saxophone at a very affordable price. Although the name is somewhat under rated, the SML is a high quality French made instrument with a fat Selmer type sound, rolled toneholes, gold plated springs, and simple yet elegant floral engraving. This alto, serial number 12301 is still in 90+% of its original dark honey gold lacquer.
