BUESCHER True Tone - Silver Plate (Serial Number: 171021) Back to model

This is a great example of a Buescher True Tone Bass Saxophone.  It comes in original silver plate, and is in amazing shape for being almost 90 years old.  Buescher saxes were known for the great resonance they were able to produce, and this bass is a perfect example.  It has loads of power, and shakes the walls when playing low Bb.

The silver plating gives the horn a nice, full dark sound, and stands at well over 85%.  There is typical wear to be found from a horn that has been played.  The horn is in fantastic shape, with no signs of dedenting, and no resolders.  These vintage True Tone Basses are very hard to find, and especially one in this great of shape.  If you ever have the chance to blow on one of these horns, make sure you take advantage, because they are tons of fun to play!!!
