C.G. CONN Worcester model - raw brass relacquered (Serial Number: 432) Back to model

This is the earliest example of a genuine C.G. Conn made tenor saxophone that I have seen. The serial number is 432 stamped on the back of the horn where you normally expect to see it. This instrument comes from the Saxquest Museum.

This is a Worcester vintage instrument and features same side bell keys. Also note that it sports the Mercedes-Benz style low C key guard. It was most likely originally in either raw brass finish or nickel plate finish (also see early Conn alto SN 382 featured on this web site) with minimal engraving. The instrument was relacquered at some point in the past.
