1947 represents the year Conn dropped rolled tone holes from their saxophone line. This is an excellent example of one of the first post-rolled tone hole 1947 vintage Conn 10M tenor saxes, with serial number 325325. Despite the lack of rolled tone holes, this is a killer player.

The original lacquer stands at about 90% and there are just a couple of the smallest dings in the bottom bow. The bell rim has never seen any damage and looks incredible. There is just a small amount of resolder work on a couple keyguards, all of which was done professionally and looks great.

The sound is exactly what you would want from a great Conn 10M. Don't be afraid of these early post-rolled tone hole 10Ms. They have everything to offer in the sound department as a rolled tone hole model. As a general rule, if its in the 3xx,xxx serial range, its likely to be a great player. This sax is very free blowing and has a nice spread sound and edge that will cut through any venue. It is definitely a horn for a true player.
