Conn gold plated alto sax c42250 with shooting stars

My conn serial number does not seem to match any I have read about in your forum. Looks more like a 14M than anything else I have seen, but I just don't know.Just wondering what time period it is from - and where made (pre or post Mexico. Oh by the way, I am new to saxquest - live in Kenya - play alto in a band and am getting serious once again about music. This horn has a great tone. Cheers

    Check out this website:  http://saxpics.com/?v=ser&manID=3  It looks like your horn was manufactured in 1963. if your horn was made in Mexico, that should be stated on the horn.
