Which sax to buy?

Hi! My wishes for christmas this year is a saxophone. I've been playing piano and guitar for several years, but have never touched a sax. And I only have about 400 dollars to spend. Do you have any tips about which type of sax I should go for? I think I'll try to find an used one - so that I get most of the money. Which brands should I steer away from, and which parts of the sax are important? Thanks! - Elise

Me again:) I've found this tenor saxophone: Jinbao JBTS-100. It's all new, but the store is having a sale, so instead of the originali price (850USD), I can buy it for 430USD. What do you think? Is it a good buy?

I wouldn't buy any off brand sax if I were you. There is so much junk out there, it's hard not to be had. Buy a used Yamaha YAS 23. It's is a well built horn, perhaps you can get a good deal on one of those...Kelsey
