New kid on the block

Hi, I'm new here.  I came by and noticed you guys have a forum that looks fairly active. 

I used to play alto and tenor sax a lot about 10-12 years ago in my high schools concert band.  For some reason, despite loving the instrument, I didn't pursue it past high school.  I fooled around a bit with guitars, bass, classical and electric, but never really could dedicate myself all that much to them despite really liking classical guitar playing.

So in an effort to get back into music for good I went out and made the investment and am in the process of owning my first sax.  Everything should come together this afternoon and I plan on "eating" a few reeds when I get back home.
