Brushed Nickel Silver vs. Nickel Silver

Hi, everyone. I'm considering buying an alto Keilwerth SX90R Brushed nickel silver sax for my daughter (karebear on this forum) but I'm really not familiar with the brushed vs. the regular nickel silver. How do they differ? Is it strictly a cosmetic difference? Thank you for any input. Also, I've heard mixed reviews on the rolled toned holes. Thoughts? Thanks for any help. Amy
