New Saxophone Member

Hi! I play the alto sax in my middle school band, and my friend is starting tomorrow. I promised him I would come and help tutor him because the good sax players in my band never show up. Now I have an event at school so I can’t come the next 2 weeks. How can I tutor him without him getting misinformed by other kids?
