Idenfication help needed

Hi guys.
I happened to get my hands on a sax, that I don't know anything about.
I don't play (yet) and I don't even know the basics of these instruments.

I was wondering, if anyone there would know something about this:
Weltklang, serial 30269. This might be an alto... 

I tried to find something by the serial, but no results.

I would be grateful, if anyone have anything about this..

    Weltklang was a line of student instruments produced in East Germany, then by that same operation for a while after the 1989 unification of Germany.
