How to Rock?

I play Tenor.

My sound tends towards mellow blues, Lester Young type sound. I was listening to a recording of me playing rock and I didn't d not like how I sounded. I've been playing a long time. What can I do to fatten my sound for blues and rock? Post your suggestions here including mouthpiece/Reed combos, embechour focus, drills, etc.

I can growl and honk and slap tongue, but post things like that ,too.

How does a Sax player sound more like Clarence Clenmons, or Boots Randolph? Give the range.
