Re A. Rampone Alto Saxophone

Hi. I have an A. Rampone Quarna Novara Alto Saxophone with a serial number #12985 and  I was wondering if anyone could tell me how old it is. It is in somewhat of a poor condition however so might be best used for parts or as a restoration project if it is worth it. It is gold in colour but in areas the gold has worn away and it looks coppery underneath. Grateful for any advice. Thanks.
