    based on the price, its probably not a good horn, but morgan mouthpieces are very good. I dont know if it is the same brand though.

    It's probably crap, but I'd recommend you keep it. Who knows, maybe your son might not like the saxophone and stop after a year of playing, then you can do whatever you want with it.
