Doe's anyone know anything about helmke saxes

i'm new to playng the sax and my friends wants to sell me a black helmke tenor but i've never heard of that brand of sax before

    I know not to buy them. check sq's vintage saxes, since you're on here anyway i belive there's a signet for 650 and a 10M for 1200, both good deals. also, mark, if someone from hopkins MN buys that signet, i should get comission^_~

    On another forum, a player offered to pay somebody to take his because he never wants to play or hear it again.
