new selmer saxes

what is the difference between the selmer super action and the series III?

    The series III is the third iteration of the Super Action model - so it is, technically, a Super Action horn. Great horns - a little to the bright side. Of course, not to be confused with the pre-Mark VI Super Balanced Action models.

      I have a series III quick action 80 and they are really nice horns. You are right, they are a little bright but good for jazz.
