M.C. GREGORY Simpson (-)

The Simpson mouthpieces are the rarest of all Gregory mouthpieces.  We have only seen maybe a dozen online in the past 10 years.  There have got to be some out there though, because the one we have here is serial numbered 263.  These mouthpieces were offered in Clarinet, Alto and Tenor saxophone.

Charecteristics of Simpson Hollywood:

  • Simpson stamped at slant across back of mouthpiece
  • Hollywood stamped on shank
  • Serial number stamp on left side of table

These mouthpieces are pretty much exact copies of the Master Hollywood mouthpieces by Gregory, with the exception of the stamping.  They have an overall darker quality to there sound, and as you can guess feel pretty much just like a Gregory Master Hollywood mouthpieces.
